  	These dates are approximate. Harold and Agnes had operated a Harold's Liquor Store in Milford, Connecticut. They sold this business and relocated to Southern California. After a few years of working for one of the California industries, Harold opened a TV store in Torrance and was successful in selling televisions during a booming time for the relatively new television industry. Eventually, however, the ever burgeoning population of Southern California and their desire to own waterfront property set them on a course of looking at waterfront property on the East Coast of the United States -- Maine to Florida -- and eventually they settled in Clearwater, Florida, where Harold built a small apartment building right on the water, and they lived for several years before relocating to a home in Largo.
